Hounslow Highways provides shuttle bus service on Hatton Road

Hounslow Highways has been carrying out road surfacing works at Hatton Road (from Faggs Road to Staines Road) since the beginning of July 2014.

As a result, we have been closing the road in sections between Faggs Road and West Road since 21/7/14 and will continue to do so until 28/8/14.

During this time, normal buses will not be able to operate.

Routes 203, H25 and H26 will not be able to serve Hatton Road between Faggs Road and Stanwell Road East. The nearest bus stops will be at Hatton Cross Bus Station, Stanwell Road and Staines Road.

We kindly ask residents for their co-operation during this time, and would ask those who are able, to use the stops highlighted on the map below.

Hounslow Highways has arranged for a free shuttle bus service which will run from one end of the closure to the other via Stanwell Road and Hatton Cross bus station.

Working with London Buses and local charity ECT, the shuttle bus service will run to the times that the normal bus services would run (between 6am and 10pm), and be suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The bus will seat 12-16 people and will be on a 45min loop from one end of the closure via Hatton Cross bus station, 7 days a week for the duration of the Hatton Road closure.

The 24-hour road closures are due to technical reasons, with the depths for construction for the majority of the works having to be increased, and curing times required. Therefore, the works will take longer than a normal carriageway scheme.

It is not foreseen that any phase will last longer than one week, and a diversion route will be in constant operation.
