Hounslow Highways raised over £550 for Macmillan UK and Hounslow based cancer support charity, the Mulberry Centre, last month.

Over twenty prizes were auctioned in a raffle as well as sweet and savoury baked goods being sold. Raffle prizes were generously donated by local businesses including the Feltham branches of Nandos and Chiquitos, Isleworth pub Coach and Horses and Syon Park.

The Mulberry Centre provided information about their services and events to distribute. Literature relevant to Eurovia’s 2015 well-being themes of ‘Protect the skin you’re in’ and ‘Eat right, feel bright’ formed part of the material provided.

Hounslow Highways Service Director, Rob Gillespie, said: “It is always a pleasure to support such a fantastic cause and to see so much of the borough coming together to support us. I would like to thank all of the staff members and businesses who contributed cakes, raffle prizes and their time to make the event a success.”
