National Apprenticeship Week 2026!

This National Apprenticeship Week, we’re spotlighting the apprentices who are shaping Hounslow’s roads right now.

Charlie Quinn joined us just a few months ago and is already making a real impact on Hounslow’s roads.

Like all our apprentices, Charlie’s role is hands-on and varied, as he puts it: “Every day you do something new. You’re not continuously doing the same job… It was a surprise for me.

“I can’t really sit in a classroom and learn. I love being hands-on and being outdoors working. It makes me feel happy because you’re making the borough of Hounslow a better place and you’re making the environment safer for the residents that live here.”

We make sure our apprentices are supported, trained and given the opportunity to develop in their roles, so it’s great to hear feedback like this: “They taught me, they had patience with me, and they gave me a chance to prove myself.”
