One Giant Leap for Hounslow Highways!

We’re proud to announce the acquisition of a brand-new, all-electric sweeper for Hounslow Highways: the Scarab RAVO E2. This milestone reflects Hounslow Highways’ forward-thinking commitment to sustainability and innovation as we take a giant leap towards reducing our environmental impact without compromising performance.

The RAVO E2 has joined Hounslow Highways’ street cleansing fleet to support a range of essential services to maintain and enhance the borough’s public spaces.

Speaking on the purchase, Scott Burborough (Cleansing Operations Manager, Hounslow Highways) said: “The [RAVO E2] caught my eye straight away. We worked [the sweeper] hard while on demonstration, the operator was very keen to put the sweeper to the test and push the boundaries of the battery’s [autonomy]. It really performed well, it did everything we needed to do, and it didn’t finish the shift short of charge. It was a no-brainer for us!”.

The RAVO E2 represents a new era in street sweeping, blending cutting-edge technology with exceptional efficiency to support cleaner, quieter, and more sustainable urban environments.
