Hounslow High Street to close for three weeks

Hounslow High Street will be closed to all traffic for three works, starting on Monday 7th November.

The closure is for us to be able to undertake essential maintenance works to the four speed tables, as well as works to the road surface and kerbs.

Businesses and residents have been notified of the closure via means of a letter drop. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the duration of the works.

Divisional Director, Martin Clack, said: “In order to ensure the works are finished before the Christmas rush, a full road closure is necessary to safely complete them. These works will ensure that improvements made in the Hounslow High Street regeneration last year are more durable. We will aim to minimise disruption throughout the works wherever possible.”

The following bus routes will be affected by the closure and diverted along Hanworth Road:

  • 116 towards Ashford
  • 117 towards Staines
  • 235 and 635 towards Sunbury
  • 237 towards Hounslow Heath
  • 423 towards Heathrow Airport

The road is expected to fully re-open by the 25th November. For enquiries about the works, please contact us here.
