Proud to Support Green Careers Week in Hounslow.

Hounslow Highways was delighted to participate in the London Borough of Hounslow’s Green Careers Week, helping inspire the next generation of environmental leaders.

Our team, Gary Winterbottom, Arboricultural & Horticultural Manager, and Gowtham Ramakrishnan, Data Analyst, spent the afternoon sharing their expertise and insights on career opportunities at Hounslow Highways with young people from across the borough.

By showcasing real pathways and opportunities within the green sector, we aim to:
✅ Raise awareness of the diverse and exciting careers available
✅ Highlight how green roles contribute to positive environmental change
✅ Show the link between learning today and meaningful, sustainable futures tomorrow.

The session explored how the green sector operates, current and future employment routes, and the range of opportunities we offer, including apprenticeships and work experience.
