Faggs Road, a key route in Feltham for passengers travelling onto Heathrow Airport and the A30, will be resurfaced and have its pavements renewed this year.

Works are programmed to start on 8th February, with the pavements being renewed initially over a three week period. Road resurfacing, which will take place at night, is then expected to commence on the 27th February and finish on the 12th March.

The works will take place between the junctions with the Great South West Road (A30) and Causeway. Residents of Faggs Road and neighbouring streets have been written to regarding the first phase of the works and will receive a further update regarding night resurfacing works in early February.

We aim to keep disruption to a minimum where possible. Traffic will be diverted for the duration of both sets of works, with a closure of one lane during pavement renewal and both lanes during night resurfacing. Diversion maps are included in the resident letters.

Hounslow Highways Service Director, Rob Gillespie, said: “As we begin our fourth year of delivering better streets in the borough, we remain focused on providing durable road and pavement surfaces, improving journeys for residents and ensuring streets remain safe for pedestrians and road users. Resurfacing Faggs Road, along with previously completed schemes on Stanwell Road West and Green Lane, contribute to enhancing connectivity in Feltham and improving passenger experience for those travelling to Heathrow Airport.”

We maintain Faggs Road between the junctions with the A30 and Causeway. If you have any enquiries about these works, please contact us here. The remainder of the street is maintained by Transport for London.
