Hole appears in Thornbury Road

A hole 4.5ft deep and 6ft across was discovered at 4pm today on the southbound carriageway of Thornbury Road, Isleworth at the junction with Eversley Crescent.

Access to Eversley Crescent at the Thornbury Road junction is currently prohibited.

An emergency single lane closure is now in effect and temporary diversions are being put in place.

The cause of the hole is not yet known.

Delays can be expected north and south on Thornbury Road. Please use alternative routes if possible.
