Bedfont, Hanworth and Feltham

 

The Bedfont, Hanworth and Feltham area features several surviving manor houses, large open playing fields such as Feltham Arenas, Glebelands, Blenheim Park and Hanworth Park, and was home to Freddie Mercury, of rock band Queen.

Hounslow is home to Hounslow Heath, a large public open space and local nature reserve. Hounslow has also been home to some famous faces, including Genesis drummer Phil Collins, Olympic medallist Mo Farah and Patsy Kensit.

Chiswick

 

Chiswick is the eastern most area of the borough and is home to many of the borough's street trees. Points of interest include Chiswick House, several churches that span from the late middle ages to the modern era, a range of historic pubs and Dukes Meadows.

Heston and Cranford

Heston and Cranford features St Leonard's Church and is bound by the River Crane.Heston Aerodrome was operational between 1929 and 1947. In September 1938, the British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, flew from Heston to Germany three times in two weeks for talks with Germany.

Isleworth and Brentford

Isleworth and Brentford boasts a number of 18th and 19th-century mansions including Syon House, and is home to Brentford Dock. Griffin Park is home to the Brentford Bees Football Club and Chelsea Football Club Reserves.
